A mastering session includes: Bit/sample rate conversion (if required) ,equalization, stereo width adjustments, dynamic compression or expansion, loudening, spacing (pause between tracks), fades in/out, crossfades, levels (volume adjustment), removing clicks, pops & hisses, adding reverb…
